Other than sand in your shoes, beach weddings offer some of the best backdrops for wedding photographs. Wind noise can be a consideration for beach ceremonies, both for video sound, but also for guests to hear. I think most of the beach weddings I’ve photographed take that into account.
Proximity to beaches is key. Yacht clubs, hotel resorts and restaurants all over New England offer some shelter from the elements while still guaranteeing a view.
